MARC MESCOLA

Born (1973) and raised in Arnhem (NL). His father introduced him to vinyl when he was just a little boy.

The love for music was there, and the preference for electronic dance music grew in his teenage years by listening to live mixes of Ben Liebrand and others in the 80s. With the rise of house music in the 90s and visiting his first house party, he was completely addicted to this music.

Many parties, including the Love Parade and Mayday parties in Germany, followed. House, trance, old school, techno, old hard techno and even schranz have influenced his taste over these years. And that can still be heard in his sets today.
In his mid twenties he finally bought two Technics and a mixer and started to collect vinyl for the hobby. Playing at home for fun, occasionally playing at private parties and having the honor to play an old school vinyl set in a full Heineken Music Hall for 3000 colleagues.
His preference was always for the old techno sound and he decided to focus solely on techno.
As founder of Techno Factory he organizes his own small-scale techno parties. Parties that are known for their underground atmosphere with 'good old' pumping techno and a nicely mixed audience from young to old, Berlin style to casually dressed. They have become parties that Marc missed in his hometown and the way he likes to see them.
Living in his second youth, Marc finally mixing his techno for the public. With gigs at private parties and for Unwind Techno, AmsterdamsMostWanted, Sunday People, ADE, Reactor26, GraanRave, Drückfabrik, OSR, Spätkauf and his own Techno Factory, he is increasingly recognised as a valued techno dj and contributor to the scene.
Marc Mescola ('Mescola'' - Italian for mixing), takes you on a techno journey, full of energy and pumping techno where he mixes deep, raw and hypnotic techno with hints of peaktime and groove. With an occasional layer of the classic house or trance sound.
