What’s up! I'm Dave, aka My Mate Dave. I think I was born with music in my blood.

As I got to my teens I found a massive love for electronic music and that’s where my DJ journey started. Whilst I never took it so seriously back in those days my first dip in the water was with a set of 1210’s. I loved the feeling it gave you. I was however way more of a dancer, loved the 90’s where raves and free parties were introduced to me, the most amazing time of my life. 

Some of my main influences in music was LTJ Bukem and Roni Size. Their sound really resonated with me. I also have a massive love for 90’s and 00’s trance, the vibe it gives really hits home.

I started to take things more seriously as I got older where DJ'ing is concerned and since then, I have been lucky enough to play at some amazing places across the UK as well as running my own events. 

I feel very privileged to be able to bring my sound to the dancefloor wether it be radio, club, bar or art gallery…….
